026 - Dead on Arrival: Run Hide Get Away!

We start the podcast Dead on Arrival -- no, I'm not sick again. It's the name of the group. The lead singer and guitarist of this Arkansas-based band was a San Francisco transplant -- and you can hear it in their music!

We also check in with the Kool Kuzzins, two brothers and their cousin, who did some recording for the Spot label in the mid-60's. And we offer up another dose of psychedelica, this time by the Sunn Cycle and the appropriately-named Acid Raga, Part 2.

The Soul Spotlight this time shines on some blue-eyed soul, figuratively and literally. Figuratively, because this mixed race group had some white kids emulating the Righteous Brothers. Literally, because that was the name of the band -- Blue-Eyed Soul!

Remember -- you don't need an iPod to listen to a podcast. Just download it straight to your computer from this link!
